Best Practice Examples
Within the EESI 2020 project a consolidated European know how on Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) best practices and essential tools will be established. First of all, the regional status quo analysis will be carried out. This will be done by collection and inventory of essential EPC documents and instruments in place in the nine participating countries. The EPC documents will be adapted and adopted for nine regions and cities.
Based on the evaluation and additional to the collection of instruments the consortium will develop a central EPC best practice database, accessible in national language on each national EESI 2020 webpage.
The target audiences of this EPC database will be both facilitators (consultants, energy agencies etc.) and final customers (i. e. predominantly decision makers and officials of public administrations/city governments). It will provide a single point of access to high quality EPC reference, guidance and marketing information.
The development of a European “Best practice Database” will be in synergy and cooperation with the Transparense project.
At a later stage the access to the evaluated and relevant reference project information will be organized from a user’s point of view. In addition to key information on the project (such as amount of guaranteed savings) the idea is also to provide contact data of stakeholders of the relevant projects (where possible and acceptable for the stakeholders) to enable interested parties to receive and exchange first hand experience.
