Codema – Ireland
Codema is Dublin’s Energy Agency. We are committed to working with Dublin’s Local Authorities on improving the energy efficiency of public buildings in order to reduce the city’s CO2 emissions and achieve the ambitious climate and energy targets known as “20-20-20″ targets:
- A 20% reduction in EU greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 levels;
- Raising the share of EU energy consumption produced from renewable resources to 20%;
- A 20% improvement in the EU’s energy efficiency.
We act as an energy adviser to the Local Authorities and on their behalf sit as energy experts on a variety of Steering Committees. Codema is also very well networked in Europe and has been very successful in bringing European projects to Dublin with a local implementation for the authorities. Our technical experts monitor the energy use of public buildings and assist with building surveys. Additionally, we have a very strong communications & marketing team, who are involved in creating energy awareness campaigns and communicating project outputs through traditional and digital channels.
